How to calculate Engagement Score?

In Profit.co the Engagement Score can be calculated by adding the total of survey points given by the users and dividing it by the value of the total count of employees. 

Why this feature?

  • The Engagement Score is a single quantitative metric that evaluates the engagement level of users.
  • In other words, the engagement score refers to the level of interaction with followers that is generated from content created by a user for customer engagement and free trial prospects. 

Step 1

Navigate to Engagement → Manage Pulse Survey from the left navigation panel.

On the Manage Pulse Survey page, select the survey for which you wish to calculate the engagement score.

Step 2

From the selected survey, click on the Responses tab and choose the Employees from the dropdown to view the scores.

Employee 6

Note: In this Pulse Survey a total number of six employees have submitted the survey.

The formula for calculating the Engagement Score is shown below:

The sum of survey points given by the employees is [7+4+9+5+10+6 = 41].

The total number of employees in the pulse survey = 6.

Engagement Score = 41 / 6 = 6.8    

The Engagement Score will be displayed in the Dashboard view.

Note: The Engagement score value will be rounded off to the nearest Tenth as displayed.
