Why am I not able to see certain users when assigning OKRs?

Category: General

In Profit.co, users may not always appear in the list of assignees for OKRs, tasks, or meetings, depending on the permissions and roles assigned to them.

Let’s address this with one scenario.

Situation:

The department head wants to assign OKRs to Andrea Cantillo but cannot find her in the list of assignees.

Explanation:

This happens because Andrea Cantillo is not designated as an OKR user. In Profit.co, only users who have been assigned OKR functionalities will appear in the list of assignees when assigning OKRs. Since Andrea Cantillo is a task user, she does not appear in the OKR assignment list.

Solution:

To make Andrea Cantillo eligible for OKR assignments, she needs to be added as an OKR user role in the system.

To add app specific roles to the users follow the below steps:

To Navigate to Settings → User Management from the left navigation panel. Select the user and Click the Edit button on the Active Users tab

On the Update User side panel, click on the + Add Role button, under the Access Information section.

Next, on the App Specific section select the OKR user option and click the Add button, then click Update.

Now, You can find Andrea Cantillo in the list of assignees list.

Note: This scenario is applicable for all user roles. If a user is not assigned the relevant functionality (OKRs, meetings, tasks), they will not appear in the respective module’s list.
