Where do I notify and accept an Alignment request?

You can find all the alignment requests in the OKR canvas page of the objective or key result with which the OKRs of the others are aligned.

Note: To get notified to accept or reject alignment requests, you need to first enable the Accept/Reject Assignments toggle from Settings → OKRs→ Alignments/ Dependencies from the left navigation panel.

Step 1

Let’s say for instance that Allyson Tompkins wants to align her objective as a key result with Alex Cross's Objective. In the edit page, by clicking on the Align button she can align her Objective with the selected Objectives of Alex Cross and click Update.

Allyson Tompkins has aligned her objective Increase #Onboarding as a key result with that of Alex Cross’s two of the objectives like Increase social media outreach and Increase Brand engagement.

Step 2

Now in the OKR Canvas page of Alex Cross’s Improve Brand Engagement OKR, you will find the Alignment request that he has received from Allyson Tompkins.

Step 3

Clicking on it will direct you to the Alignment Requests side panel. Here you can accept or reject the alignment.

Step 4

Once you accept it will be aligned as KR with that of Alex Cross other aligned Key results of that particular OKR.
