What is Proficiency level in Employee Review ?

Profit.co provides an option to create proficiency levels and this created proficiency level will be associated with the Grades that you mention while creating a department.

Why this feature?

  • By setting a Proficiency level you can improve employee performance.
  • The created/ default Proficiency level will be reflected while the user/manager performs the assessment for Performance review.

Note: Only users with access to Settings can create a Proficiency Level.

Step 1

As a first step navigate to Settings.

In the Settings menu, click Performance → Reviews and select the Rating Controls tab.

After enabling the toggle you’ll see three default levels present.

  • Basic
  • Intermediate
  • Advanced
  • Leading

Step 2

To create a new Proficiency Level, click on + Create the icon. Enter the Level Name and Description and finally Save it.

These proficiency levels can be added to the Grades. You can update your Proficiency Level by editing/creating Grades.

While performing the assessment the proficiency level will be reflected in the performance reviews.
